PORTLAND, Maine (WMTW) - The city of South Portland has painted several crosswalks as rainbows to celebrate Pride Month.

The painted crosswalks are located near City Hall.

Many events had to be canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the crosswalks are a way to celebrate without putting people at risk.

Portland's big Pride Parade has been replaced with a virtual parade that will take place on Sunday.
