BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The 5th annual Maine Science Festival is growing again this year.
It will be five days of science and learning this year.
There will be presentations, activities, demonstrations and films for anyone interested in science and will cover a wide variety of topics.
The festival will be throughout the Downtown Bangor Area, including a Saturday event at the Cross Insurance Center.
One of the primary goals is to let people know is if you want to see what is being done for top notch science you don't have to go very far.
"The most important thing people can get out of this is that we are doing amazing work in Maine and you don't have to go some where else to find it and you will find everything from aquaculture to robotics to biotechnology," said Kate Dickerson the Founder and Director of the Maine Science Festival. "We have it here in Maine and we're gonna showcase it at the Festival."
One of the things they need is volunteers, and you don't need a science background to help out.
If you would like to volunteer you can visit their website and click on participate to get involved.
The festival runs March 13th through the 17th, and the biggest need for volunteers is Friday and Saturday.
