WATERVILLE, Maine (WABI) - The Maine International Film Festival is underway in Waterville.
The festival features around 100 releases of independent American and international films.
Wednesday night is their Centerpiece Gala which features a live performance of an original score to the newly restored film '7th Heaven.'
Organizers say the second half of the film festival is full of surprises.
"MIFF brings something for everyone. There's international films, there's restorations, there's new releases, and it's just an incredible feast of all kinds of cinema. There's something for everyone here," said Mike Perreault.
The festival ends on Sunday.
