Maine CDC reports 20 new coronavirus cases, no new deaths

The Maine CDC is reporting 20 new cases of coronavirus in the state Wednesday.

The 20 new cases brings the total in Maine to 3,460.

There are 494 active cases - that number drops by 20 since Tuesday.

2,856 people have recovered.

110 people have died with COVID-19.

11 of the new cases come from Cumberland County, 20 more people have recovered there.

Three new cases in York and Androscoggin Counties.

There are two new cases in Penobscot County.

One new case in Washington County.

The Maine CDC has decided to alter its briefing schedule.

Starting next week, briefing will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There will not be a briefing this Friday.
