Madison Man Killed In Head On Crash

An 83-year-old man from Madison was killed in a crash in Norridgewock this morning.
The two vehicle crash happened just before 8am on Madison Road.
Deputies say Lazlo Kakuk died when his SUV was struck by a pick-up that crossed the center line.
The driver of the truck, 30-year-old Eric Hatfield of Anson, was seriously injured and flown to a Bangor hospital.
Authorities say speed and improper passing may be factors.
We're told the district attorney's office will determine if any charges will be filed.
