BUCKSPORT, Maine (WABI) - A lobster processing plant is coming to Bucksport.
Stonington-based Greenhead Lobster is building it in Buckstown Heritage Park.
Bucksport's Community Economic Development Director said it will create up to 50 jobs.
There will be a wide range of jobs including office, maintenance, processing and packaging work.
Richard Rotella, Bucksport's Community Economic Development Director, said, "We've had lots of new businesses. Bucksport is open for business. It's great for the town, great for the region and even better for the state."
We're told the facility is expected to be up and running in late spring to early summer.
