List of school districts with precautionary temporary closures

All Maine Catholic Schools are closed until at least March 29th.

Auburn School Department will be closed until March 30th.

Baxter Academy for Science & Technology moving classes to online until further notice

Bowdoin College moving all classes online

Central Maine Community College will extend it for students to include the week of March 23.

Colby College moving all classes online, asking all students to move out by March 15

College of the Atlantic: Moving all classes online for the spring trimester beginning March 30.

Eastern Maine Community College, Northern Maine Community College, and Washington County Community College will extend the break for students to include the week of March 2

Ellsworth Department Schools will be closed starting Tuesday, March 17th until April 3rd.

Husson University extended its spring break by one week. In addition, the University has made the decision to move the majority of day and night physical classes to an online or teleconference modality starting March 23.

John Bapst High School in Bangor has closed its campus until at least Monday, April 27. No classes will be held, online learning will be used as an alternative.

Kennebec Valley Community College, and York County Community College will extend their student break through the week of March 16

Lewis S. Libby School in Milford closed beginning Monday, March 16th until further notice.

Lewiston Public Schools are closing Monday, March 16th through April 6th.

Maine College of Art extends spring break an additional two weeks

Passamaquoddy Tribal Government and Indian Township School to be closed for two weeks, the school will re-open Monday the 30th.

RSU 24 schools will close effective Tuesday, March 17 and remain shut down through Friday, April 3rd.

RSU 34 will be closed beginning Tuesday March 17th until TBD.

RSU 64 Schools are closed through March 27th.

RSU 71 Schools will be closed starting Monday March 16th through April vacation.

Southern Maine Community College: Spring Break extended until March 22

University of Maine System moving all classes online

Veazie Community School closed through March 30th.
