LINNEUS, Maine (WABI) - A woman was taken to the hospital following a single car accident in Aroostook County.

Police said 35-year-old, Alicia Dwyer, of Linneus, was traveling on the Hodgdon Mills Road in Linneus when she hit some slush and lost control of her car. Authorities said Dwyer crossed the centerline.

Police say she also hit a snowbank which caused her car to roll over and hit some trees. They said Dwyer had to be extracted from the car. We're told she was not wearing a seat belt.

Dwyer's husband and child were also in the car- they were uninjured.

We're told Dwyer was taken to Houlton Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
