Larry Lord remains hospitalized, his condition changed from fair to serious

BOSTON, Massachusetts (WABI) - Hospital officials tell us Larry Lord has been downgraded Monday to serious condition from fair.

Lord was badly hurt when the LEAP, Incorporated building in Farmington exploded in September.

He has been at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston since that day.

Lord was the building's maintenance manager and was credited with helping get coworkers to safety before the building blew up.

Farmington Fire Captain Michael Bell was killed in the blast which also injured six other firefighters.
