Two people have been arrested after a shooting in Jay Thursday afternoon.

Several police departments responded to Otis Street around 2:30 p.m., for a report of shots fired.

Police say they ended up finding bullet holes in an apartment building on that street.

Authorities have charged 35-year-old Alicia Beck of Bangor with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon.

Also charged is 35-year-old Arthur Cohen of Connecticut.

Cohen is facing charges of reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Witnesses told police that they saw a SUV leaving the area after the shooting.

We're told that SUV was stopped by police a short time later on Main Street in Livermore Falls with Beck and Cohen inside.

Beck and Cohen are currently being held without bail at the Franklin County Jail.

Officials say they recovered two guns an other evidence.

The shooting remains under investigation.
