ETNA, Maine (WABI) - In a Bangor courtroom today, a judge ordered 2 of 3 teens to a detention center after they were found to have robbed an Etna store last fall.

In late September, three teens from Bangor entered the Etna Village Variety and demanded money from the clerk.

Authorities recovered a shotgun that the 15-year-old had with him during the robbery

He and a 16-year-old are both headed to long creek youth development center in South Portland where they'll stay until they're adults.

Ben Fowler, Assistant District Attorney said, "We take these cases very serious. It was a serious offense and we will prosecute similar crimes in the future to the fullest extent."

The third boy, also 16, was sent for a mental health evaluation.

He has not been sentenced yet.

Because they are minors, they're not being named.
