BLUE HILL, Maine (WABI) - State Police say human bones found Wednesday may belong to a Blue Hill woman who was last seen in late July.
The Maine Warden Service was contacted by a hunter who said he found what appeared to be human remains off the Grindleville Road in Blue Hill.
Authorities responded and secured the area, collected the remains, and did confirm they are human.
They've been taken to the Medical Examiner's office for an examination Thursday.
While no positive ID has been made, 37-year-old Jessica Grindle was reported missing in August.
Her family and friends have been working with the warden service for months.
Multiple organized searches have taken place near her family home.
