A Hampden man accused of shooting and killing his sister-in-law has been formally charged with her murder.
Police say 55-year-old Philip Clark admitted to killing Renee Clark in an apartment building on Kennebec Road in Hampden where they both lived.
Court records say Renee Clark is married to Philip's brother Frank, and was in the process of getting a divorce.
Police say Philip Clark shot her, reloaded and continued firing then tried to clean up the scene, and wrapped Renee's body in plastic.
