BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Young wizards and warlocks packed into Governor's Restaurant in Bangor Thursday night. It was Harry Potter book night.
Dozens dressed for the occasion.
There was themed food and drink, a photo booth and more.
The Potter Party was organized by Governor's, The Briar Patch Bookstore and Literacy Volunteers of Bangor.
The goals is to promote literacy.
Jason Clay of Governor's says, "We celebrate all things Harry Potter. We also collect books for Literacy Volunteers of Bangor so we really like to promote reading."
The Governor's in Old Town, Ellsworth and Waterville also hosted Harry Potter Book night.
