Reykjavik, Iceland (WABI) Governor Mills is in Iceland leading a group of Maine business owners and politicians at the Arctic Circle Assembly.

Thursday she signed a memorandum of understanding with Finland's prime minister to leverage Maine's forest-based economy.

State officials say this will strengthen forest health and sustainability in the face of climate change.

On Friday, the governor will address the assembly and tour the Iceland Ocean Cluster, a marine industries group.
