OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (WMTW) - 250 runners hit the streets of Old Orchard Beach Sunday.

They were bundled up too for the Frozen Four Miler.

The race hosted by "Jimmy the Greek’s" benefits the town recreation department's “Send a Kid to Camp" Program.

Organizers say they see a lot of the same faces every year no matter what the weather is like.
Jason Webber, Recreation Director for the town of Old Orchard Beach said, “some years it's colder than others but it never deters the runners from coming out and running the race."

The race coordinators hope to raise a couple thousand dollars to send four or five families to camp.
