Dozens gathered to listen to folks tell stories about success, innovation, and importance of community in Waterville.
It was all a part of the inaugural Thomas College Plugged In storytelling event.
The event highlights personal stories from the Waterville and Thomas college communities.
“We have a few students that are talking about their experiences as immigrants to the United States and to Maine. We have a student who is speaking about his fight to get out of the inner city. We have our president speaking about her experiences growing up in Maine.”
The event was free and open to the public and had 6 speakers on hand.
Organizers say they hope to continue the event in the future.
