Two members of the Waterville Fire Department Tuesday afternoon found themselves on a rescue mission.
Lieutenant Cote and Firefighter Brown rescued four ducklings out of a storm drain.
It happened around 5:45 on High Street.
They used a milk crate to keep them safe before they reunited them with their momma.
They were all taken to Head of Falls and released near the Kennebec River.
