A fire caused damage to the rectory of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Old Town last night.

Crews were called to the church around 9.

They say occupants had a fire in the fireplace on the first floor earlier in the day and it had died down.

Authorities believe after the occupants left, that fire reignited and spread.

Damage was limited to parts of the first floor and the basement ceiling

Crews cleared the scene around 12:30 this morning.

No injuries were reported.
