UPDATE: Fire at general store in Liberty was due to an electrical problem according to officials

Authorities say there was a fire at Peavey's General Store on Route 3 in Liberty Monday morning.
Officials said the store's owner reported the fire just after 11:15.
Investigators believe an electrical problem caused the fire, which damaged electrical wiring and generated a lot of smoke.
No injuries were reported.
