Federal funding on its way to help Maine hospitals

More than one million dollars in federal funding has been awarded to help support Maine hospitals.
The Department of Health and Human Services will distribute the money statewide to support pandemic response efforts.
Hospitals will be better able to build on their preparedness programs, including offering more training to staff and acquiring supplies and equipment.
Telehealth services will also be expanded.
