ANSON, Maine (WABI) - Investigators say an electrical problem in the basement caused a fire that killed a man in Anson Sunday.

75-year-old Richard Duley was found in his living room near the stairs to the basement with a fire extinguisher next to him.

The fire was noticed by a neighbor who saw smoke coming out of the windows of Duley's home on Moore Street.

According to investigators, the home did not have working smoke detectors.
