Family farm in Mercer getting ready for Thanksgiving

MERCER, Maine (WABI) Tonight we check on a family farm in Mercer that we first visited in July.

The baby turkeys we saw at Greaney's Farm are have grown a lot.

They aren't given any hormones, steroids, or injections -- and they are kept in a healthy environment.

The Greaney's are getting ready for their busiest time of year, Thanksgiving.

"It's just mad crazy dash," says Benjamin Greaney. "Everyone's just looking forward to get their Thanksgiving turkey. Everyone likes coming up and driving. Seeing the farm, asking us how we're doing, seeing the crew they've seen for years."
