Authorities are searching for the men who robbed a store in Etna at gunpoint last night.
According to Penobscot County Sheriff Troy Morton, three men, one of them armed with a shotgun or rifle robbed the Etna Village Variety at 9 Tuesday night and fled the scene on foot.
At this time no arrests have been made.
You can see in surveillance video provided from the store camera the men enter - appear to demand the money from the clerk and make off with the entire cash drawer.
Authorities say no one was hurt, but the those working at the store were understandably shaken after the ordeal.
Penobscot County Sheriffs and State Police were on scene throughout the evening as that portion of Route 2 was shut down for a period of time.
A K-9 unit from Old Town Police was called in to help track those involved.
"Interviews are being conducted," said Morton. "We would ask that if anybody has any information to let us know. Do not approach the subjects as they were clearly armed in this situation. Nobody in the store was injured but we are concerned if anybody would approach these individuals."
Morton said it's unclear how the men made their getaway and are continuing to investigate if more than three people were involved.
As the investigation continues the number to contact authorities with information is 945-4636.
