BANGOR, Maine- At last check, Emera Maine is reporting that 74 customers are without power.
Judy Long, a spokesperson for Emera, said folks should be prepared in case more outages happen throughout the night.
She said their crews are ready to quickly and safely respond.
"We understand that the weather is supposed to be very cold and we know that it's difficult when customers lose power and are not able to heat their homes,” Long said. “We would urge customers to make sure they have an emergency preparedness kit and if possible a backup plan for shelter if they lose power."
Emera said if you do lose power, report it as soon as possible.
