EMDC Hosting Public Listening Sessions Across Region

Eastern Maine Development Corporation is looking for your feedback.
They will be hosting five listening sessions throughout the region.
The sessions are open to the public.
They are asking for input regarding economic priorities, strategies and barriers within the region.
Kristin Harman of EMDC says, "We want to work on the next version of our Comprehensive Economic Development Strategies so it's our SEDs program for short. And really we just want to involve as many people as possible and create some partnerships and really go forward with continuing to grow and expand in our region."
The sessions will be held throughout the region in an effort to reach as many communities as possible.
Penobscot, Piscataquis, Hancock and Waldo counties will each have at least one session.
The session originally scheduled for this Thursday has been cancelled due to weather and will be rescheduled.
