Drug agents intercept heroin they believe was destined for Washington County

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) Drug agents intercepted a large amount of heroin after stopping a car headed for Washington County.

The drugs were valued at over $56,000.

A task force has been working to find those involved and had been watching the vehicle as it left the bus station in Hermon.

When police stopped the car, 54 year old Michelle Loud of Whitneyville and 27 year old Christopher Disla from Pennsylvania were arrested.

Both are charged with aggravated trafficking and are each being held on $10,000 bail.
