Downtown Belfast shops deck out windows for friendly competition

Storefront windows in downtown Belfast are all decked out for the holidays and you get to choose whose display is the best.

24 businesses are participating in the friendly competition.

The stakes are high, the winner takes home bragging rights and a replica leg lamp, straight from the movie 'A Christmas Story.'

Colby Horne, Owner of Colburn Shoe Store says, "It just brings the holiday cheer to people and gets them in the mood to come down and check out what people have done in their windows, shop locally, spend time downtown."

Organizers encourage you to take a stroll downtown to really take in the displays.

Voting ends at midnight Wednesday with the winner announced on Thursday.
