A special election was held Tuesday in Bangor and Orono to fill a vacant house seat.
In December, Democrat Aaron Frey gave up his seat when he was picked by Governor Mills to be Maine's Attorney General.
Democrat Joe Perry won over Republican Thomas White with 719 votes to 390.
Perry will represent House District 124 which includes much of the east side of Bangor and part of Orono.
And in Orono, 2 town council seats were up for grabs. Laurie Osher and Terry Greenier were elected.
