A plane headed from Atlanta to Germany had to make a stop in Bangor last night after a passenger caused trouble on board.

Police say the Delta flight stopped in Bangor just before 9 pm.

Bangor Police were called to the airport to assist federal law enforcement with a South Carolina woman who's accused of assaulting a flight attendant.

44-year-old Judith Rodriquez-Nodine was removed from the flight and taken to a nearby hotel.

She's charged with assault.
