HOLDEN, Maine (WABI) - A garage in Holden caught fire around noon Thursday.

Marie Carter, one of the owners of the property on Clewleyville Road says she heard a loud noise, went outside to look, and discovered smoke coming out of her unattached garage.

A nearby hydrant allowed crews to quickly knock down the fire when they arrived.

No one was injured.

Carter says she's grateful for that.

"Boats, four wheelers, there's a lot of stuff. We lost a lot. But we didn't lose our life. So you know with that...I have insurance. And that's why you have insurance."

She says the garage is two years old and is not wired for electricity.

It is not known what caused the fire.
