Community Connector will resume collecting fares July 1st

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The Community Connector buses will begin collecting fares again on July 1st.

The Bangor-area transit system suspended fare collection earlier this spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Safety protocols are still staying in place. Riders must have an essential purpose to use public transportation. Passengers must enter at the front and exit from the rear door. Face coverings and social distancing are required.
