BANGOR, Maine (WABI) A woman from Clinton pleaded guilty federal charges of social security fraud.

Court records say 61 year old Katherine Prosper did not list her husband on necessary paperwork to get Supplemental Security Income benefits.

According to court documents, Prosper's husband had sufficient income that would have made her ineligible for SSI benefits.

Authorities say Prosper lied about her living situation and income for more than dozen years.
