The Brewer Food Pantry got a big donation Thursday.
A dump truck full of food and supplies from Nickerson & O'Day, a contractor based in Brewer.
They say this is the fifth year the company has brought the donation.
Pantry directors say this means a lot to the many families they help each month.
"They have been an incredible supporter of the food pantry. They actually rehabbed and remodeled the pantry and then arrived the first year with a dump truck full of food and they fill the dump truck up every year," says Brenda Leavitt, director with OHI which operates the pantry.
"We strongly encourage all the other businesses in the greater Bangor and Brewer area to come and support the food pantry because we see every day the difference it makes," says Karl Ward of Nickerson & O'Day.
The pantry says they are always accepting donations.
