Boy Scouts to camp out and collect food donations in Newport

NEWPORT, Maine (WABI) Boy Scouts in Newport are camping out for a cause this weekend.

Troop 63 will be braving the elements to tackle hunger in Maine.

They're camping outside Hannaford where they'll be collecting non-perishable food items all weekend.

They're hoping to fill a trailer with food and they're accepting cash donations, too.

It all goes to the Newport Community Food Bank which serves five towns.
