Body found washed up on shore of Robbinston beach

Police are investigating after a body was found washed up on a beach in Robbinston.

According to authorities, the body was located around 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

The Medical Examiner's Office will conduct an autopsy and work to determine the person's identity.

Police say there are no known missing persons from that area.

Due to the proximity to the border, Canadian authorities have also been notified.
