Belfast hosted their annual Winter Whoopla for members of the community.
The whoopla is three days long with many different events indoors and outdoors.
The hope is for folks to "get out and do something" during the cold winter months.
A pancake breakfast was held by the Waldo County YMCA.
All proceeds from the breakfast go towards the YMCA so they can pay fees for folks who can't afford it but still want to join.
"I think it is pretty important because people get a little bit of cabin fever from staying inside. So, it's good to get outside and connect with your community and get the fresh air because inside and warm air that is when sometimes people get sick and so getting out and spending time with your groups of people that you know and you meet people. We already have people giving lots of hugs seeing each other so it is just good."
The Winter Whoopla is organized by the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce.
