Belfast Getting New $16M Courthouse

The city planning board approved a plan Wednesday night to move forward with the $16M dollar project.
The 37,000 square foot building will be directly across from the old court house and be the home of both state and district court proceedings.
The old building will be used by the county.
The hope is to start work this September and be in the building by February of 2019.
