Jobs for Maine's Graduates students from throughout the state got some hands-on job training from volunteers from Bank of America and other employers.
It took place on the Eastern Maine Community College campus in Bangor.
Bank of America Day lets students engage in workshops that include customer service, marketing training, and networking.
The goal of JMG is to focus on workforce opportunities while trying to solve the skilled worker shortage here in Maine.
"We certainly can't do it alone," said VP of Digital Banking of Bank of America, Ryan Moore. "It's definitely a task that I think JMG is really suited for and one of the reasons I am so passionate about the organization but having opportunities like this I think gets students those extra skills or at least a preview of some of those extra skills they can build on."
More than 100 JMG students from at least 10 high schools attended.
