AUGUSTA, Maine (WMTW) A bank issue has caused Tuesday’s unemployment direct deposits to be delayed, the Maine Department of Labor said.

The Labor Department said in a tweet that payments were sent as usual to U.S. Bank on Monday night.

The tweet said there has been a delay at the bank level.

The Labor Department said the bank is working to fix the issue, but it could take up to 24 hours to resolve.
