Bangor airport to continue running as normal during partial government shutdown

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Don't expect any changes at Bangor's airport during the partial government shutdown.

We are told TSA officers, canine handlers and their dogs, explosive experts, and inspectors will continue to work each day.

Bangor International Airport will continue with flights as normal coming and going.

"We continue to monitor the situation very closely. We have been in contact with all the government agencies that we work directly with, that's FAA, border patrol, and obviously TSA. At this point, there has been little effect on our operations."
