BREWER, Maine. (WABI) - Folks in Brewer got a head start on their Christmas shopping today.
The Zonta Club of Bangor hosted their 40th Annual Zonta Marketplace in the Brewer Auditorium.
Local vendors showcasing and selling products at the Brewer Auditorium.
Items up for grabs ranging from jewelry to Christmas stockings.
The Zonta Club uses the proceeds for charitable causes like scholarships and helping women who have been through human trafficking.
Organizers tell us some vendors have been coming back for the past 40 years.
One of the organizers, Sharon Leavitt, explained to us, "The reason they tell us they came back, is because it's a fun fair. In fact there's a man out there, his name is Ken Mitchell and he's been coming here for 40 years, and he says the reason he does that fair is because the Zonters make it fun for the crafters."
Mary Mitchell, one of the vendors, told us, "Zonta is a great group of ladies. It's a very fun and festive show. It gets you in the holiday spirit, and the food is just unbelievable. It's just a really fun show with a lot of good vendors."
