Bangor Area Homeless Shelter to offer overnight warming center

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - As the nights get colder, there's now a place for those living in homelessness to get a break from the elements.

Starting Sunday the 16th, the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter will keep its common area open overnight.

They'll offer coffee and snacks and provide a warm place to sit from 8pm til 6am.

They'll keep that going until February thanks to a $50,000 donation from Hannaford.
