2018 was busiest season for Darling's Ice Cream Truck for a Cause

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The Darling's Ice Cream Truck may be put away for winter, but the crew is reflecting back on their record breaking year.

Gary Bellefleur joined us this morning on Sunday Morning Maine to talk about their busiest season.

In total, the truck attended 324 events and raised over $61,000.

Adding in the donations from the ice cream freezers at each of the Darling's dealerships, they have raised over $66,500 for charities and causes throughout Maine this year.

Since Darling's Ice Cream Truck for a Cause started in 2012, they have raised more than $353,000 to help friends, neighbors, and communities.
