4 Year Old LifeFlighted From Crash Scene In Hancock

HANCOCK, Maine (WABI) - A four year old boy was flown to a hospital after a crash in Hancock.

It happened around 7:30 Wednesday morning on route one in front of Hancock Grocery.

Police say a car driven by 26-year-old Leanna Bishop of Harrington was pulling out of the store's parking lot when it was struck by a vehicle driven by 70-year-old Barrie Latzko of Milbridge.

The boy was a passenger in Bishop's car, police say his injuries are life threatening.

Bishop and Latzko were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

It appears everyone was wearing a seat belt.

The crash is being investigated.
