ORONO, Maine (WABI) - More money is coming to Maine to help figure out how to get older adults involved in volunteering.
The UMaine Center on Aging received a $147,000 award.
Researchers are trying to determine ways to free up or help older adults as they juggle work, caring for their families and helping their communities.
That can give them more time to volunteer.
The award comes from the Corporation for National and Community Service.
