Emilie grew up in Gardiner and is happy to be back in Maine!
She graduated from Lyndon State College (now Northern Vermont University - Lyndon) with a B.S. in atmospheric sciences and has a M.A. in communications from Southern New Hampshire University. During her time at Lyndon, she interned with the Vermont Institute of Applied Meteorology forecasting road conditions for the Vermont Agency of Transportation. She also completed an internship with Precision Weather Service.
After college, Emilie moved to Bismarck, N.D. where she was the weekend meteorologist and a digital producer for KFYR-TV. She also spent some time working at the local humane society.
When she is not working, Emilie enjoys spending time with her dog, watching lots of tv, reading, crafting, exploring area restaurants and traveling. She also likes participating in running events, especially RunDisney events.
