Judge tosses suit against Maine's ranked voting

A federal judge rejected Poliquin's requests in his lawsuit, which asked the courts to declare him the winner or order a new election for the 2nd Congressional District.


Police say this was an isolated incident and there was never a threat to the public.


Authorities say the woman lived at the home with her boyfriend and their two young children.
