Two arrested following Talbot Trail shooting

While the pair has been arrested as part of the investigation, neither have been directly charged for Monday’s incident

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - Two people are behind bars following a shooting in Bangor earlier this week.

Bangor Police say it happened Monday night on Talbot Trail off Stillwater Avenue.

A man called 911 saying he’d been shot and the had suspect fled, officials say.

Officers say they found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds.

The man, who is from Princeton, told police he had been camping in the nearby woods.

He said while walking on the trail, he briefly spoke with another man who then pulled out a gun and shot him.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Investigators searched a home on Stillwater Avenue on Wednesday as part of that investigation.

While executing the search warrant, police arrested Justin Grover, 38, of Bangor, and charged him with Possessing a Firearm as a Prohibited Person, a felony.

They also arrested Kristina Hart, 35, also of Bangor, for Obstructing Government Administration, Disorderly Conduct, and Refusing to Submit to Arrest.

Police say more charges are expected, and the case remains under investigation.
