BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - A Bradley man was sentenced for bank fraud conspiracy and aggravated identity theft.

According to court documents, Darren Deorsey, 51, was sentenced to 13 months in jail.

Records suggest that Deorsey and others fraudulently obtained money by impersonating legitimate bank account holders and using fake ID cards.

These crimes reportedly happened between July and October of 2024.

Documents show Deorsey obtained nearly $17,000 from customer accounts, and he was ordered to pay that amount in restitution.
